Registration & Abstracts Submission

Registration for LSC2024 can be completed via the University of Southampton online store. This includes registration as an exhibitor and purchase of additional exhibitor attendees.

If you would like to be considered to present either an oral talk or poster presentation at LSC2024, please indicate this in the relevant field when you register.

Information for Presenters

  • If possible, please provide a draft talk title when registering via the online store
  • Confirmed titles and abstracts should be emailed to contact@LSC2024.co.uk. Abstracts should be formatted based on the guidance here. Abstracts will be made available via the conference website. The submission deadline for abstracts is the 31st January 2024
  • If your talk is accepted for presentation, you will be informed by email soon after the abstract submission deadline
  • Oral talks will be approximately 15 minutes in duration with 5 minutes for questions
  • AV facilities will be provided, please ensure you have an electronic copy of your presentation available by the start of your session
  • We hope to offer the opportunity for accepted oral talks to be included in published conference proceedings. Further information will follow in due course

Information to Poster Authors

  • If possible, please provide your draft poster title when registering via the online store.
  • Confirmed titles and abstracts should be emailed to contact@LSC2024.co.uk. Abstracts should be formatted based on the guidance here. Abstracts will be made available to all participants via the conference website. The submission deadline for abstracts is the 31st January 2024.
  • If your poster is accepted for presentation, you will be informed by email soon after the abstract submission deadline.
  • Posters should be A0 size, portrait format.
  • Posters may be printed locally through the University Print Centre and delivered to the conference venue. Further information may be found here. If you would like to use this service please get in touch with the conference organisers.

Information for Exhibitors

  • Registration as an exhibitor can be completed via the online store.
  • Exhibitor registration includes one delegate place.
  • Exhibitors will be provided with a small table, two chairs and space for pull-up banners. Provision of a single 13A supply may be possible if needed but these are limited at the venue. Note that all electrical equipment must have a valid PAT certificate.
  • Step-free access to the exhibition area is possible via ramps / lifts however lift capacity is limited. If you would like to bring any items larger than standard pull-up banners or items requiring specialist handling arrangements, please contact the organising committee by April 1st.
